Am I allowed to register if I am sick ? |

Yes. However the distinction will be made between healthy volunteers and patients.
Some studies require «healthy volunteers », meaning without any pathology which might influence the results of the study. However, nobody is perfect: one day or the other, everyone can suffer from an illness or anomaly. “A healthy volunteer” must therefore be understood as « healthy » in a specific context. Indeed, a patient who suffers from high blood pressure will be considered as “healthy” for a dermatological test. It will not be the same however if the trial concerns a hypotensive medicine.
The purpose of medical research is to prevent, detect and cure diseases, and so trials on sick patients are of major importance. If you suffer from an illness and wish to take part in clinical trials, do not hesitate to register on our site. In the medical section of your profile, you will be able to mention the pathology you suffer from. If it isn’t listed, don’t hesitate to contact us.
