Here are some rules to abide by (non exhaustive list) in order that your participation in medical research takes place under good conditions:
- Never accept to take part in testings outside of recognized laboratories (universities, university hospital, research centre, medical, pharmaceutical or cosmetic industry, specialised laboratories)
- Carefully read the agreement form, check that the study has been accepted by an ethical committee and that it respects the legal texts which rule on the experiences of human beings.
- Feel free to refuse to take part in any study or to withdraw from any study. Even if researchers or relatives might influence you, the decision is yours only.
- Don’t repeatedly participate in studies, leave a reasonable time between them and never take part in several studies at the same time.
- When filling in the medical examination form, clearly describe your present and past state of health, mention all medicines that you are currently taking or recently took and any past participation in another study.
- During the check up examination, or at any time during the study, immediately mention any secondary effect you might feel.
- When you take part in a research inform you general practitioner.
- Never agree to negotiate a remuneration for a high risk
- Immediately inform us of any misuse of our services that you might suspect or hear of by(contacting)
